Meet Your Brand Strategist
I'm Chelsea, founder of Kalon Design Studio and the person who'll be guiding your brand from strategy to final assets. With over a decade in design and degrees in both graphic design and digital marketing, I started Kalon to do branding differently. Complete brand identity systems built on research and strategy, not just aesthetics.

I've been in the design world for over ten years, but my passion for creativity started long before that. I remember walking home from school, so incredibly excited to show my parents my latest pencil-crayon masterpiece, another addition to the mismatched collection of artwork blanketing our refrigerator doors.
As the years went on, I learned that creative expression was my way of escaping the grips of reality. A world without limitations, where I could create anything my heart desired. That pure joy and accomplishment I feel when putting finishing touches on my work is exactly what gave me the clarity to take the leap and fully dive into brand design.
Chelsea and I have been working together for years now and I am blown away by her skill and creativity with every project we do together. After work hours, you can find me curled up on the couch with popcorn and a Zevia for family movie night or adventuring through the great lands of Oregon (when it's not pouring down rain, that is). I have an endless love for my four rescue pups Braxton, Koba, Zeus, and Wrenley, and my angel dog Nala (RIP pretty girl). Staying active keeps me sane, and I've learned that taking care of myself makes me better at my work.
A healthy work-life balance can save you from every business owner's worst nightmare: burnout. I get to enjoy my favorite things because I've built a business that supports my life, not the other way around. I want that for you too. Friends, it never gets old! I watch it at least once a year.
New Girl is a very close second.
What’s your favorite show of all time?
I would go back a few years and get some slobbery kisses from my late dog Nala!
If you had a time travel machine, where would you visit first?
Coffee in the AM and herbal tea in the PM! There is nothing like the first sip of a fresh cup of joe to say good morning and a relaxing cup of chamomile to say goodnight.

A bit of both. I love the quiet of the early mornings but I have been known to stay up past my bedtime for a good series binge session.
